Teens on a Mission

 Teens on a Mission 2012

In July 2007, Holy Apostles instituted a teen program called “Teens on a Mission.”  The program is designed to select and prepare 10 confirmed, young adults and 3 adult chaperones annually to perform missionary work in the Church.  Missionary work involves identifying our own talents and spirituality and giving these gifts to those who are poor and marginalized in this world.  Holy Apostles currently engages in this missionary service under the direction of Mustard Seed Communities, usually traveling to Blessed Assurance orphanage, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.  Since 2007, more than 50 parishioners have participated in this life-changing experience.
